Heathside is a non-selective, co-educational, non-denominational day and boarding school for children between the ages of 2-14. The Nursery accepts children from the start of the academic year in which they turn 3, at which point they can attend nursery full or part-time.
Step One – Register your child
Our admissions process aims to ensure a good fit between the school and the pupils. The first step is to fill in the Registration Form here. Early registration is recommended as the waiting list is prioritised by registration date. Please note that siblings of current Heathside children are given priority on waiting lists. Once your registration fee and signed registration form are received, your child will progress to the waiting list.
Step Two - Attend a tour
After registration, you will be invited to attend a tour of the school in a small group. If you register well in advance, you may choose to have a tour closer to your child's start date.
After the tour, if a place becomes available, we will contact you to arrange for your child to attend a ‘taster day’. A taster day allows your child to experience a typical day at Heathside (for Year 1 and above) with their peer group. If we feel there is a good fit between your child and the school, your child will be offered a place. Nursery aged children are offered places in order of registration. Reception children (for 4+ entry) are invited to spend an hour or two with our teachers.
You are very welcome to contact us with any admissions enquiry.
Full details of the admissions process can be found in our Admissions Policy.
