The advisors who join Principal Melissa Remus on the Governance and Safeguarding Advisory Board each offer a wealth of skills and experience encompassing strategic business, human resources, safeguarding, education and finance. The Advisory Board meet at least six times a year and members serve a one year term.

Celestine qualified as a Modern Languages teacher and was Head of Languages in a number of schools for 12 years and a Local Authority Advisory Teacher. She was a Local Authority Inspector and Ofsted Inspector in the London Borough of Islington for 14 years, working with Islington primary and secondary schools, and carrying out Ofsted inspections in schools across England as a member of The Islington Inspectorate.
Since taking early retirement, Celestine provides consultancy, coaching and mentoring to schools and other organisations working with children and young people. Since 2018, she has been a governor at the Tavistock and Portman Trust in Belsize Park.
Radha is Creative Director at Development Media International, an NGO that focuses on improving child health and cognitive development through TV, radio and mobile campaigns.
After a mathematics degree at Imperial College, she qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor at PwC and worked at Shell in a number of senior HR and Operations roles before becoming a Partner at Towers Perrin (now Willis Towers Watson). She was Operations Director for Comic Relief and is a Trustee of BookTrust, the children’s reading charity. She has a six-year-old son.
Robert is an entrepreneur with 40 years commercial experience. Fifteen years ago, he left corporate life to create Spirit Entertainment, which has grown into the UK’s largest independent home entertainment business.
Robert advises a number of high-profile businesses on managed growth and mentors individuals to realise their full potential but considers his most important role to be that of father to two lovely children.
Tracy is an award-winning, global educationalist. A qualified Maths teacher, she has set up and managed boarding in many schools in the UK, China, Malaysia and Korea.
She is a qualified life coach and mental health first aider and runs her own consultancy supporting and advising boarding school communities. Tracy is currently leading the new Boarding Mental Health Award for schools initiative with Leeds Beckett University.
Alex is a Chartered Accountant who spent more than 20 years in senior roles for energy trading and retail companies in the UK, Switzerland and Germany.
Alex is now working on several of his own projects outside the corporate world and his particular area of expertise is management in environments of rapid growth or change. Alex is the father of three young boys.
