Academic life at Heathside is designed to build strong foundations in numeracy and literacy, to broaden pupils’ horizons and encourage self-expression. Our pupils are well-prepared for the entrance requirements of independent senior schools.
Our pastoral team works to ensure that all children are healthy and happy during their time at Heathside, so they can enjoy and benefit from the rich education on offer. We focus on physical and emotional wellbeing of every child.

The school maintains an informal atmosphere while fostering a high level of individual responsibility and self-motivation. We encourage the development of the whole person and, as a result, Heathside is a relaxed and happy place and academic standards are high.
